Zecchino D'Oro - Jingle Band
When we were contacted by Zecchino d’Oro to create the videoclip for Jingle Band, a song that imagines Christmas in the middle of August, we immediately asked ourselves:
What could make a child want to relive Christmas in the middle of summer?
The answer came quickly: the presents, of course.
From this idea came the story of two twins, Nic and Nat, who — between beach umbrellas and burning sand — decide to bring the magic of their favorite holiday back to the seaside.
With two not-so-enthusiastic Siamese cats dressed up in eccentric Christmas costumes, a few puppets, and a lot of imagination, they form the “Jingle Band” and kick off an improvised celebration that starts as a game and ends up involving the entire beach.

But every good story needs an antagonist.
In our case, it’s the lifeguard — the guardian of summer, determined to preserve order under the August sun. With whistle in hand and a watchful eye, he tries in every way to stop the twins’ plan. But music is contagious, and before long, even he finds himself caught up in the rhythm, joining the band as a backing singer.

Meanwhile, Santa Claus — secretly sunbathing in disguise — makes a surprise appearance, and even the parents, initially distracted, get swept up in the fun with tambourines and maracas.

This is a videoclip that flips seasonal expectations and celebrates the creative power of childhood imagination.
Because sometimes, all it takes is a simple idea and the desire to share it to turn an ordinary August morning into something truly magical.
